There were no city approved plans or small documents on site for inspection. It appears that notification will need to be added in the corridor and in the common Shower Room. Also detection will need to be provided in the same Shower Room. Notification is shown in the corridor as existing but is not there. As-builts or Plan Mods will need to be provided to plan review. He will decide which will need to be provided.

Mike from Absolute called regarding design changes noted by the inspector. I told him that due to the quantity of items plus the addidtion of a notification panel that a resubmittal will be required. Mike asked if heat detectors can be wall mounted. Informed him they could if located at least 4 inches from ceiling but no more than 12 inches per NFPA 72.

Mary called to say that the added NAC panel was previously approved in a plan modification. If so, the contractor needs to have those approved plans on site for inspections. Also, if the approved plans show this, the addedf heat and notification in the shower room can be submitted in as built drawings.
