SLRMC WEST WING STAIRWELL - To demo interior North half of exisitng floor areas on the first & third floor and on the West half of the second floor, approximately 12,000 s.f.of the approximately 30,000 s.f. West Wing first three stories. To add new structural support beams & columns to carry the floor at the 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors where opening for new stairs & enclosure will be constructed. To add anchors & place reinforcement at designated walls for placement of new shotcrete structural shear walls at all three floor levels. To make all construction & finish to comply with 2-hour stair enclosure requirements within an existing Type I-FR structure. To protect existing openings at and in enclosure per code. Upgrade electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm system per plans & code. No new interior construction or finish beyond the scope clearly shown on the approved plans at the area of the Northwest corner of the floor; maintenance of existing exit corridor systems & upgrade of new accessible restroom.
