To remodel the basement & upper level portion of an existing church as phase II for code upgrades. Phase I done under May 1994 permit. Work to include separation of basement from upper level by 1-hour fire resistive construction on the usable space side; installation of 3'-0" x 6'-8" exit doors from rooms in basement and upper floor into the hallway; exit doors into basement hall to be a minimum of self-closing, tight-fitting, door assemblies, sec. 712 UBC; to provide 1-hour fire-resistive construction between the E-3 - Daycare and surrounding rooms (beside & below) W/ 60 minute door assemblies at openings into the building interior; complying handrails on stairs at upper & lower levels; all per approved plans, notes & plan review comments attached to plans.
