(YEN CHING) Remodeling and renovating an existing assembly occupancy (A-3) restaurant and (B) occupancy kitchen/service/office/storage tenant in existing 5,873 sq.ft. building per approved plans on file. Work to include miscellaneous demolition work, upgrading restrooms to meet current accessibility standards, other accessible upgrades, providing new exterior accessible route and new exterior entrance doors, new entry vestibule/waiting area with interior accessible route, windows in northeast one-hour exterior wall to be replaced with 3/4 hour rated wire glass or one-hour wall infill, relocation and new one-hour rated occupancy separation walls and 60 minute rated doors separating the office/storage room/Men's restroom/Women's restroom from the rest of the tenant area, some new interior walls and dividing partitions, new Type II Hood, interior finish changes, suspended ceiling and soffit work, mechanical work, plumbing work including new grease interceptor installation, and electrical work. NOTE: The one-hour rated occupancy separation is required to comply with 1997 UBC Section 904.2.3.1 so restaurant does not require fire sprinklers. (P.C.#757-00) JCB
