To construct a a 6808 sq.ft. office with telephone switch room/shipping & receiving room/transmission room/power room, and exterior 19' x 25' exterior 8 ft. high chain link fence to contain glycol dry cooler units and a emergency power unit with above ground fuel tank per approved plans on file. Interior work to include, construction of a one-hour tenant demising wall, a one-hour occupancy separation wall and ceiling for required separation of battery room, construction of noncombustible partitions to create switching room, transmition room, shipping and receiving area, small conference room, control room, and office areas, there will be a 3,380 sq ft adminstrative office l9ocated at the front that will remain unfinished a separate permit will be required to finish this area, installation of new exterior door and landing, the installation of suspended ceiling tiles and gypboard ceilings, concrete pad for emergency generator and glycol coolers. Went out to reveiw approved plans , all areas have been sheetrocked on 1 side and ceilings also rocked, right rear area requires a 1 hour wall separation and a 2 hour ceiling, for containment of stored battery ,the ceiling joist are not per plan also listed assembly requires laminating compoud at the 3 sheetrock layers, The first layer has been painted with a textured seal coating, which will affect the system, 2nd layer has been applied by screws only, advised contractor to contact the architect and engineer.
