(QWEST - RESTROOM UPGRADE) This building is NOT fire sprinklered. To construct two restrooms accessible to the disabled within an existing 18,347 square foot telephone equipment building. Two existing restrooms will be demolished at the same location in the building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceilings, floor finishes, wall finishes, interior doors, and fixtures all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. This permit is intended to satisfy the obligation under permit BLD01-01384 to upgrade the restrooms to be accessible to the disabled. NOTE - If a wall that is proposed to be demolished is discovered to be a bearing wall, the wall shall not be removed. New drawings accompanied by an engineered design shall be submitted to the Structural Inspector showing how the loads will be transfered to the footings.
