To remodel the first floor of a 2 story (with basement) building for occupancy by a medical office. This tenant space will occupy 7,535 square feet of the 8,674 square foot first floor. Building upgrade work covered under this permit includes constructing a new 1-hr stair enclosure, enclosing an existing stairway, and upgrading the elevator to be accessible to the disabled. The entire building shall be fire sprinklered before occupancy. Work is to include 3 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, an exterior canopy with masony columns, 2 interior open stairways, exterior wall finishes, doors, windows, millwork, finishes, and suspended ceilings all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file.
