Description
(LOCK STOCK & BARREL) To remodel an existing 8,090 sq.ft. two story building with a 3,650 sq. ft. storage basement for a new (A-3) assembly occupancy restaurant/bar and a (B) occupancy dining/kitchen tenant per approved plans on file. A second floor adjacent office tenant will be done under a separate (MIS) permit for occupancy approval but attached to the same plans. Work to include upgrading first floor restrooms to meet current accessibility standards, new one-hour rated occupancy separation wall with one-hour rated doors to separate assembly drinking areas and unseparated areas into 5,000 sq. ft. or less so the whole building does not require fire sprinklers, some new interior walls and doors, some new interior windows, new handrails with extensions on existing exit stairways, new accessible entry vestibule, interior finish, plumbing work, mechanical work, and electrical work. A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY IS TO BE ISSUED WHEN COMPLETED AND APPROVED. NOTE: The basement ONLY is sprinklered in this building. NOTE: There are some ALTERNATE APPROVALS from the Building Director for this building concerning allowed occupant load on the second floor with stairways less than 44", openings in property line wall, and basement exit separation not meeting 1/2 the diagonal.
