There is an existing small office mezzanine in this space. NO OCCUPANCY IS ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. A separate permit is required for a tenant to occupy the space. This is a Scope of Work Permit. 1. (Tenant demising walls) In buildings containing tenant spaces with occupancy groups classified as A, B, E, F, M, and S, each tenant space shall be separated from other spaces by a wall having a fire-resistive rating of not less than one hour. The tenant separation wall shall extend from the floor to the underside of the highest adjacent ceiling in either tenant space. If openings are provided, they shall be protected as required by the 1997 UBC for 1-hr fire-resistive corridors. (Boise City Building Code 4-02-14)
