(MATTER ARCHITECTURE) This building is NOT fire sprinklered. To perform a seismic upgrade (Phase II) to an existing 3,380 square foot building (1,980 square foot 1st floor and 1,400 square foot 2nd floor). Phase I (BLD02-00057) included an accessible restroom, interior columns and beams, and stairway modifications. That permit was intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the first floor. The 1994 Uniform Code for Building Conservation (UCBC) shall be used to define code compliance. Work is to include tying the exterior walls to the floor and roof. This permit is a shell permit and does NOT establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. **CJW**
