(IDANHA HOTEL - CANOPIES) The Idanha building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC because it is too tall, too big, and has too many stories. To construct two canopies to serve the Idanha building. Each canopy will be 18 feet by 10.5 feet and about 16 feet tall. One canopy will serve the 10th Street entry and one canopy will serve the Main Street entry. Each canopy will be located above the public sidewalk. Approval by ACHD is required. Each canopy will be supported by the building and by 2 columns located in the public way. Each canopy will have a metal frame with a fabric covering. The fabric shall be flame retardant as defined by 1997 UBC Standard 31-1. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. DRH01-00028 **CJW**
