This permit scope will also be used to establishe a certificate of occupancy for this tenant on both floors. Work includes selective demolision and construction of new interior non-bearing, non-combustible, 1-hour fire-resistive walls to define new private offices; modification of existing suspended ceiling grid, electrical and mechanical systems to meet tenant needs in compliance with current adopted codes and ordinances. The existing 2-hour floor/ceiling, roof/ceiling, mechanical, elevator & stair enclusure shafts shall be maintained and the existing 1-hour exit corridor / elevator lobby system that surrounds the central core and provides access to both stair enclosures shall be maintained. NOTE: This building is NOT sprinklered. Type II-FR construction must be maintained for the existing building area.
