(WESTERN POWER SPORTS)(RACKING) To install additional steel storage racking/shelving on mezzanine and around perimeter of warehouse main floor and to install another third catwalk level on top of existing multiple level racking system in an existing 106,964 sq. ft. building per approved plans on file. There will now be three levels of racking above the floor. (4 total tiers of rack storage including main floor.) Work to include steel storage racks and shelving installation per UBC Chapter 22, Division X and attached structural engineering, new stairway extensions with guardrails/handrails to new upper catwalk level, some new exit signs, removing a wood structure photo booth constructed without a permit on the mezzanine, fire sprinkler work, and electrical work. Stairs in existing portion of racking system were originally approved per UBC provisions of a "private stairway". Per Building Director alternate approval, new stairway extensions to the new upper catwalk level will also be allowed to meet "private stairway" provisions but restrict each catwalk level above the ground floor to 9 persons/employees maximum. (Less than 10 per level.) This is a Scope of Work Permit. Letter of Completion to be issued when done.
