###-####The approved plans indicated a 3500 psi concrete design, I asked the contractor if he had anything taht stated a lower design strength he handed me a lettter from the architect that read 3000 to 3500 psi would meet the specifications for the enguneering calculations, The engineer called back and said 2500 psi is ok. Then I went to sign the job card which was in a folder that was handed to me by the contractor with the stamped enginneering cals they clearly indicated 2500 psi. I then told the contractor to allway keep all information with plans . As this all could have been avoided. I spent almost an hour on a 2500 sq ft foundation inspection. 4/3/2003 4:54:05 PM
