(THE MILKYWAY RESTAURANT - EMPIRE BLDG - SUITE 110) This building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC because it is too tall, too big, and has too many stories. To remodel an existing tenant space located on the first floor of the Empire Building for a new restaurant tenant. The total floor area of this tenant space is about 2,763 square feet (1,653 square feet on the grade level and 1,110 square feet on the "mezzanine" level). Work is to include store front windows, a store front door, bi-fold exterior doors, millwork, guardrails, handrails, grease hood and duct, a dumbwaiter, and kitchen equipment all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The guard at the mezzanine will be constructed of steel posts with stretched cables. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
