Description |
(RMF) This building is fully sprinklered to reduce fire flow requirements to 1,500 gpm per '97 UFC. To remodel a 3,214 sq.ft. space, previously completed as a "Vanilla Finish", for use as a motor vehicle repair shop (exchange of parts, no work on fuel systems declared by owner/tenant) / customer pick-up area and an non-combustible automotive parts storage area, all to become part of the existing RMF, Inc. Auto Repair complex per approved plans. Existing RFM Auto repair is approximately 5,715 sq. ft. This expansion will bring the total area to 8,930 sq. ft. A 1-hour fire barrier (FB) is constructed between the existing and new auto repair areas and a new 1-hr FB wall will be created between the "S1" parts storage area per Tbl. 302.1.1 Incidental Use & the new auto repair area. The 1-hour walls will also be used to provide three 1-hour Control Areas. The accessory use customer waiting / office areas, less than 10% are not required to be separated. PC04-195/drs
