(CALVARY CHAPEL - SANCTUARY EXPANSION) (1-11-06) PLAN MODIFICATION TO REFLECT THE WORK THAT WAS ACTUALLY DONE. (8-5-05) PLAN MODIFICATION FOR NONRATED STAIRWAY AND STRUCTURAL CHANGES TO THE BALCONY. This building is fire sprinklered for area increase, story increase, and fire area. To expand the 2nd floor seating area of the existing Sanctuary by about 2,183 square feet (176 seats). After the expansion the 2nd floor seating area within the sanctuary will have a floor area of about 3,844 square feet and an occupant load of about 282, based on fixed seats. Work is to include 2 new egress stairways. The 2nd floor expansion includes concrete footings, steel columns, steel beams, wood floor joists, and wood floor sheathing. Work is to include concrete footings, masonry walls, EIFS, windows, roof trusses, roof sheathing, and roof coverings. All work shall comply with the approved drawings and the plan review report on file. Within the expansion areas, the fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-2002 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

No inspection done due to the fire alarm being failed and building issues noted. The building issues noted include tenting/canopy materials enclosing the south canopy. This area is shown on the building plans as being enclosed with walls. A permit is needed for the canopy and the two heaters, bbq and the space LP tanks removed. Plans need to be resubmitted to show this work removed or the work needs to be completed. A ceiling needs to be installed in the fire sprinkler riser room to cover the exposed cpvc sprinkler piping. The accelerator on the dry pipe valve has a sign stating the it does not work and the trim valves to it are closed. This device needs to be repaired.
