(J R SIMPLOT COMPANY - 3RD FLOOR) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To remodel the 3rd floor (17,073 square feet) of an existing high-rise building for a whole floor tenant (15,900 net square feet). For exit separation reasons, a 2-hr fire barrier intended to function as a horizontal exit will be constructed to divide the floor into two egress areas. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2-hr fire barrier walls with fire doors, interior doors and windows, and glass block walls all per the approved drawings and the plan review report on file. The restrooms are also being upgraded to be accessible to the disabled. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-2002 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
