(DESERET INDUSTRIES) To construct a new a 20" x 90" covered exterior storage area on the southwest corner of the building per approved plans and DRH04-00282. This structure is being separated from the original building by a fire wall to separate to types of construction (new exterior structure to be a type VB the original building is a Type III-B) Work to include, installation of 3hr rated fire doors in CMU exterior walls, new foundation, slab, columns, beams and metal roof deck, ALSO under this permit an existing interior wall is being upgraded to a 1hr Fire barrier partition to limit the fire area so that the building alarm system does not have to be upgraded throughout the building only the retail area expansion. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. (rmh) (PLAN MODIFICATOIN: 3/28/05) THE ONE HOUR FIRE BARRIER HAS BEEN ILLIMINATED IN LIEU OF A COMPLETE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM BEING INSTALLED THROUGHOUT BUILDING. THE FOUR HOUR FIRE WALL THAT SEPARATES THE NEW EXTERIOR ADDITION FROM THE MAIN BUILDING HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO A 3HR FIRE WALL AS REQUIRED FOR TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION (RMH)
