(BUREAU OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES - OWYHEE PLAZA - 2ND FLR) This building is required to be fire sprinklered, under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC, because it is too tall and too big. To remodel a 3,350 square foot area located on the 2nd story (actually the 3rd story) of the Owyhee Plaza. This office tenant will continue to occupy a 5,873 square foot area. Because this building is historic, the 1994 UCBC and the 2003 IBC shall be used to define code compliance. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, modifications to the suspended ceiling, and interior finishes. This story has at least 2 tenant spaces. The restrooms located within the common core area shall be available to all occupants. Access from the common core area to the West stairway will be through the remodeled portion of this tenant space. Unrestricted exit access to the West stairways shall be available to all occupants at all times. Door locking hardware shall not obstruct exit access through this tenant space. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. Within the remodeled area, the fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
