(AHRENS & DEANGELI - US BANK BUILDING - STE 300) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To create a 5,513 square foot office tenant space on the 3rd story (about 14,600 square feet total) of an existing high-rise building by expanding a tenant space into an adjacent area. The "core" has a floor area of about 2,670 square feet. The two "core" restrooms were upgraded to be accessible to the disabled under permit BLD03-02198. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceilings, interior doors, interior windows, and finishes. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. Selective nonstructural demolition is also covered under this permit. The fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and high-rise life safety systems (and the infrastructure supporting these systems) for the 3rd story are regulated under the provisions of the 2000 IBC. If not already existing, fire-safing shall be installed at the perimeter of the 3rd story between the floor and the spandrel glass.
