**(Common Area Improvements)** This permit is to remodel corridor areas with new finishes and new lighting. Currently the fire sprinkler heads are being changed out on the first and second floors under a separate permit to quick response heads, the third floor has already installed quick response heads. This will eliminate the requirement for one-hour rated corridors. There will still be the requirement for a one-hour exit passage way from the west stair enclosure to the exterior exit door. The east stair enclosure may exit through a fully fire sprinklered lobby area. This building is fully fire sprinklered for one hour substitution: All alterations and modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. *RMH*
