(DONNIE MAC'S TRAILER PARK CUISINE) Interior and exterior remodel changing the occupancy of a 3,245 sq. ft. area from a repair garage to a new restaurant tenant in an existing 8,884 sq. ft. building including all site improvements per approved plans and DRH05-00199/CZC05-00080. Some work under this permit will also include furring and insulating the walls and insulating the ceiling in the adjacent future retail space. Work to include miscellaneous demolition work, new exterior storefront windows and doors, new glazed overhead doors, new CMU parapet extensions on the west exterior wall and a portion of the south exterior wall of the building, new roof covering with insulation, some new exterior wall coverings, new furred walls and insulation, new building core restrooms and janitor room, a new building core one-hour rated exit corridor with 20 minute rated doors, new 2-hour rated CMU wall portions and wall infill with new 90 minute rated door in 2-hour rated fire barrier wall, new steel support walls and new steel floor deck with concrete slab on top to infill former service pit, new exterior wall infill in some former overhead door openings, new steel canopy on the exterior and interior, new exterior walk-up window, new interior walls and doors, new steel framed structure to enclose kitchen, interior finish, new kitchen equipment, new walk-in cooler/freezer, two new Type I hoods with grease duct wrap system, new mechanical work including all new rooftop equipment and ducting, new plumbing, and new electrical work. This tenant area is separated from the adjacent tenant areas by a 2-hour fire barrier wall to comply with fire area provisions. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved.
