(KOI JAPANESE RESTAURANT - MODE BLDG - 1ST STORY) This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance rated construction. To convert an existing 2,098 square foot tenant space located on the 1st story of the "Mode Building" into a restaurant. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, two grease hoods, a dishwashing hood, millwork, and finishes. Any expansion of this tenant space in the future will require a separate permit. A license agreement with ACHD is required for the encroachment of ducts and equipment into the alley. A license is required from the City Clerk for the 290 square foot sidewalk seating area. The tenant shall contact the City Clerk's office directly for approval. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
