(HEWLETT PACKARD BLDG #CHILLER PLANT-ACCOUSTIC WALL) DRH05-00248 To erect approximately 286 feet of accoustical wall panels and support structure around an existing exterior chiller unit area. Work includes excavation for installation of reinforced concrete piers to support steel column posts; to attach steel columns with anchor plates and epoxied anchor bolts to existing reinforced masonry wall; attach some columns to steel plates bolted to new concrete piers and install accoustical wall panels between steel columns, all per approved plans. Special inspection required per Sheet S1.0 for concrete, reinforcement, welding and epoxy anchors. Deferred submittals requested for engineering of steel column design & welding, to be provided for approval prior to any installation. (drs)
