(HOFF BUILDING - 8TH STORY - CORE UPGRADES) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise building. To remodel the 8th story core area of the Hoff Building. The total floor area of the 8th story is about 4,017 square feet. Except for an electrical room that has its only egress door directly into the interior stairway, all areas on the 8th story shall have access to both stairways without passing through the interior stairway or through a tenant space. Work is to include selective demolition, a 2-hr stair enclosure wall, a 90 minute stair enclosure door, and an interior corridor wall. This permit does NOT establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
