Located on south side of building. Work includes selective demolition of the existing stair pans and support angles and landing concrete and steel deck. The supporting structural stair stringers, landing channels and support posts shall not be removed. Clean, prime and paint existing stair structure; to add new stair support angles, tube steel support for landing deck and install 2" Amico safety tread for stair tread and landing. Riser to be closed with 11 ga. galvanized steel. Minimum stair tread to be 11" and maximum riser height is 7". Landing at top of stairs at existing exit door shall be at the same level as the interior floor level. Special inspection of welding is required per section 1704, IBC. drs
