per dixie..spoke with owner (johnny) and suggested he go back to his engineer ? and have him revise the mechanical drawings on the type 1 hoods and grease ducts, terminations, make-up air, clearances, etc to comply with the imc section on commercial kitchen equipment. then once that is done and he has hired a licensed mechanical contractor they will schedule a conference and we will all meet, review the plans and discuss the job..i also told him the hoods he had purchased for this job couldn't be installed as they have no listings per the imc.
