RCE 793 HC Company Inc (HEWLETT PACKARD BLDG #7 - ASRS SAFETY RAIL - PACKAGE 1) To install a ASRS Safety rail extending above the existing roof to provide life safety support persons on the roof or working over edge of building. i.e. like window washers. Work involves installation of steel structure posts spaced per plans, attached through the roof to a new steel support beam bolted between new "C-channels" which are welded to existing steel rack vertical columns structures that support the existing roof system and also carry applied pallet loads for storage. The new beam will be laterally braced with steel 'L' shaped angle connected to an existing lateral support member connecting the existing racks. Materials will be as specified in engineering design and architectural specifications. Tthe roof will be sealed against weather per product manufacture's guidelines. Welding will be performed by qualified persons as outlined in design & specs with special inspection and review as called out in specifications and section 1704 IBC. drs
