To construct a 3,956 sq. ft., two story, wood frame, four unit apartment building. Each unit is 943 sq. ft. with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. all fout units exit into a 1-hour vertical exit stair enclosure required to have protected door openings consisting of a 60 minute listed, labeled, self-closing, temperature rated door assembly serving as the required single exit from each unit. One hour fire-resistive construction is required between the dwelling units, vertically and horizontally. The bottom two units of the four-plex are required to comply as 'Type B" accessible dwelling units.
