(MAIN STREET BISTRO - NEW FOLDING PANEL WINDOW WALL STOREFRONT WITH EXIT) This building is fully sprinklered. SPECIAL INSPECTION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT. To change out the double exterior exit doors and replace with structural support and engineered window wall, with complying single exit door into the existing patio/bar area on the north side of the tenant space. To remove existing windows and support wall; install new structural tube steel headers (14" x 6" x 3/8" & 8" x 6" x 3/8") and support columns (6' x 6" x 3/8") with adhesive anchors from columns into masonry walls; add an 1/4" x 7-1/4" x 24' steel plate to the top of the 14" x 6" x 3/8" tube steel beam by welding, with a 3" bent end plate welded to top of column and a 8" x 9" x 3/8" column base plate, attached to masonry wall & concrete foundation with adhesive anchors; install 1/2" threaded rods along top of plate at 48" o.c. to allow attached of 2x4 wood sill plate for connection of remaining frame wall & masonry facade to the new structural members; add another TS 8x6x3/8 beam at top of new window wall & frame in new structural elements to allow installation of finishes and a NANAWALL SL70 window wall, per plans, engineering and DRH06-00159. drs
