(US BANK PLAZA - 8TH STORY RESTROOM UPGRADE) This building is fire sprinklered for high-rise. To upgrade the core restrooms located on the 8th story of the US Bank Plaza to be accessible to the disabled. Selective nonstructural demolition within the restrooms is also covered under this permit. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, relocated or new plumbing fixtures, and interior finishes. The fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and high-rise life safety systems (and the infrastructure supporting these systems) for the 8th story are required to comply with the provisions of the 2000 IBC. Existing systems shall be upgraded where necessary, including the installation of quick-response fire sprinklers throughout the 8th story. Separate permits are required for fire sprinkler and fire alarm upgrades. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
