Recieved and reviewed special insp. reports as well as a letter from engineer of record stating that majority of criteria set forth has been met and that inspections have met the specifications as set forth on sheet S1.0 of the approved plans. Also performed framing inspection of steel studs for new store front. Noted that all bracing for parapet to existing roof is not yet complete. Gave contractor ok to resume work and to make certain to get remainder of special insp. Also noted that contractor is going to replace double leaf door to make it code compliant.

Spoke with with structural engineer of record to inform him of the lack of structural inspections on new store front. Noted to engineer that letter from him acceptinf all in place work to date would be required prior to allowing the contractor to continue work on store front. Contractor to get all special inspections necessary and other other inspections necessary to fullfill structural enginneers requirements so that acceptance letter can be issued. Also noted that new double leaf doors installed at main enterance needs to have a lock indicator installed and automatic flush bolt, the seperate lock on the opposite leaf must be removed.

Noted no inspection done on framing or footings to date from Boise City or special insp. agency. Issued a c/n notice to super on site (Jake) stating to stop work on store front, hire special insp. agency and contact structural engineer of record. A meeting is to be set up with Boise city Inspector, special insp. agency, contractor and engineer before further work can resume.
