To create a 4,171 square foot event center on the 1st story of the Linen Building (2,717 square foot assembly room on the 1st story, 560 square foot assembly room on the 1st story mezzanine, and 894 square foot restrooms and storage). Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, an interior open stairway, and finishes. This building was renovated under permit BLD06-00500. The elevator, 2nd story stairways, basement stairways and shafts, concrete steps and ramp at 14th Street, windows, glass doors, roof insulation and covering, and seismic upgrade were done under that permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes.
