Plans indicate a 1-hour shaft enclosure, from top of second floor to bottom of roof the roof deck will enclose the new ductwork. To construct new interior non-bearing walls to create staff work and support areas; new offices, breakroom and support areas; two, 20 minute self-closing smoke & fire doors, frames and hardware assemblies into new openings into the existing 1-hr exit corridor. To install suspended ceiling grid system, light fixtures and mechanical diffusers; install two chemical exhaust hoods; a new opening at first floor and roof for MUA & exhaust systems enclosed with a designated 1-hour shaft; upgrade electrical, plumbing and mechanical.
