To create an opening through the existing exterior corridor wall and the existing exterior penthouse mechanical/electrical room wall and construct two new exterior walls with a roof, adding approximately 15 sq. ft. to the existing penthouse and changing the use to a storage room with connection to the fourth floor hospital corridor. To install a new rated door between the hospital corridor and the new expansion and storage room, all per the approved plans, red-lined notes on plans and attached plan review clarifications. The integrity of the existing 2-hour floor / roof between the third floor and the new storage area shall be maintained or provided, if not existing, at protection of openings, penetrations or ducts.
