I let the tenant know that since building the displays caused obstructions to the overhead sprinkler coverage and that sprinkler protection would be required within and in the combustible concealed spaces of the structures. They mentioned codes I was not familiar with that they claimed excluded the sprinkler coverage. I deferred them to Sam Rogers for building/fire codes that would allow the deletion of sprinkler coverage.

Enclosed combustible patios have been constructed in the warehouse/showroom. These require sprinkler protection. I went over this with the owner. The fire extinguishers need their annual inspection and the exit sign/emergency lights need tested.
