See the city approved plans for locations where exit discharge lighting and interior emergency lighting is inoperative. Need the project related fire alarm permit finaled as well. Scott Arleno is ok with the fire dept access through the gate on the north side of the building.
Code Occupancy Approval Temp  10/8/2008 DONE
Staff has issued the applicant a 30 day temporary occupancy. The 30 day period will allow the applicant adequate time to receive a staff level design review approval to add an overhead door and a man door to the east elevation. Once the applicant has submitted the staff level DR application, the applicant is also required to update the building plans to reflect the additional overhead door and the man door that was constructed within the east elevation. Staff arrived at the site and waited for 20 minutes for the applicant to arrive. Staff did briefly look at the site. When staff asked why the pre-finished metal shade coverings over the windows had not been installed, the applicant replied,"those will be installed later." Staff responded by stating that the awnings either had to be installed or bonded for in order for occupancy to be issued. The applicant grabbed the plans and took them into the building. Staff asked the applicant if they wanted staff to go over the entire site to let them know if there were any other chnages necessary to obtain occupancy but the applicant replied by saying that "all of that could be done once the inspection had been rescheduled. A new reinspection will be scheduled once the window shades have been installed. 9-26-08
