(EL TENAMPA RESTAURANT - COLE VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER) The fire sprinklers are used for building area increase and for fire area. To remodel the inside of a 4,692 square foot restaurant tenant space for a new restaurant tenant. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, two Class II hood and duct systems, suspended ceilings, booths, and finishes. The grease hood and duct system is existing and will be maintained. The Men's restroom and the employee's restroom will be upgraded to be more accessible to the disabled. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

Provide current certification for the hood suppression system ( currently the appliances will not fit under the hood and are too low), remove the dead bolt from the rear exit door and provide single action hardware as per the approved drawings, provide sprinkler protection in the areas where heads are missing and/or overspaced, replace the painted sprinkler heads, repair and test all exit signs and emergency lights and install additional signage as shown on drawing sheets A1.1 and E1, provide verification that the sprinkler system has had itsw annual inspection, provide fire extinguishers throughout the tenant as per the review comments, post the occupant load sign as per the review comments (193), remove dead bolts from the inactive leaf of the main exit/entrance door, provide verification that the hood suppression system is interconnected with the building fire alarm system.
