(8-13-08 - PLAN MODIFICATION TO PROVIDE A RAMP SWITCHBACK AND AN INTERMEDIATE LANDING WHERE A SINGLE RUN EXTERIOR RAMP WAS PREVIOUSLY PROPOSED.) Fire sprinklers substitute for 1-hr. To remodel the common areas within an existing 78,100 square foot multi-tenant building. Work is to include new interior windows, new interior doors, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, new guards, new handrails, a new interior stairway, a new exterior ramp, and new finishes. Instead of an existing interior wheelchair lift that will be removed, a new exterior ramp will provide an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the 1st story. Smoke control for the atrium will be covered under a future phase permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances.
