A temporary occupancy was given with sam rogers and gordon goldsmiths permission until the missing fire hydrant is installed, in-duct detectors are installed for operation of the fire/smoke dampers, the exit discharge light is repaired at the main exit, the "Area of Refuge" sign is provided with battery backup and permanent area of refuge signs are placed. Temporary signs have been installed at this time.

See the front sheet of the city approved drawings for the required corrections which include providing the missing fire hydrant, repair the exit discharge light at the main exit, provide emergency lighting in the main lobby, repair the area of refuge sign on the second floor, provide the area of refuge communication equipment and signage, provide the occupant load sign, mount fire extinguishers and provide the fire lane signage. Also the duct smoke detectors need to be replaced with spot type detectors that are listed for the air flow. These detectors are for damper operation.
