To construct a 228 sq.ft. covered entry on north side and a 988 sq.ft. lounge/living area addition and 272 sq. ft. covered patio on the south side of a 25,295 sq.ft. existing assisted living facility for a new total area of 26,783 sq. ft.; to change & install new self- closing, 20 minute & 60 minute / "S" labeled door/frame assemblies, part of original BLD96-01393, with a new door finish pattern; install a new Type I grease hood / exhaust / protected duct assembly and a new Type II hood / exhaust in the kitchen; install two new furnace units and all new PTAC through the wall units & controls; change out / add water heater units; modify plumbing in kitchen; maintain / repair the existing 1-hour occupancy separation, installed under UBC, between the 4 sleeping unit wings and the core activity/dining/lounge/reception/support areas; add new and change out some existing lighting fixture's; protect all penetrations and openings of the existing and new 1-hour roof/ceilng assemblies; install new door hardware/smoke gasketing; upgrade audible/visual alarm system; new class A roof covering on existing roof and new overbuild areas; provide accessible portion of reception counter and new interior finishes per approved plans on file and CUP08-00001. This building is fully sprinkled for allowable area increase and occupancy use groups. A new Certificate of Occupancy is required due to new addition. drs
