(CMC CONSTRUCTION SERVICES) Permit to construct a new 6,328 square foot office/warehouse building. Non-separated uses section 508.3.2 of the IBC was used and the most restrictive was the "S-1" occupancy. Office space encompasses 1,697 square feet and the warehouse makes up 3,953 square feet. The additional square footage is accessory use areas and a workroom on the second floor. Scope of work includes: a new foundation, construction of a Steel frame with curtain walls in between columns, metal skinned with w/4 foot exposed concrete stem walls, a metal canopy extending 4 feet over public entrance, [installation of interior non bearing walls to create two restrooms, three offices, a reception area, a workroom, a storage closet, and the warehouse area], Installation of interior bearing walls to support second floor joists over office space, installation of a a mechanical unit w/ related ducts and diffusers, installation of interior finishes, installation of plumbing and related fixtures, and installation of electrical and related fixtures. This building is not sprinklered.**TLW** PLAN MODIFICATION 3-25-09: Owner wanted a different name on C of O so that planning will issue a sign permit for that name. inspected rebar... appears ok Except plans do not show deeper footing with taller wall at South 1/2 of East wall.....Architect to address this area. Contractor proceeding at own risk.....I verified typical horizontal bar in footing with #5 at 16" oc verts in this area.
