(INTERMOUNTAIN HOSPITAL) Remodel to physically divide existing "I-3" occupancies into two separate I-3 Occupancies by infill of door opening in 2-hour fire wall with 2-hour assembly. This permit scope is for the west building. Work to include select demolition to provide new exterior exit door and change use of one existing Therapy/Classroom into a Lobby as part of the new exit system leading to the court yard. To add new cabinetry, sinks, doors, hardware, exit signage and emergency illumination; and to secure the existing opposite swing double doors in the closed position and infill the opening at the door on the west building side with wall type W5 for 2-hour construction. At the new exterior door provide a landing and sloped (1:20 max slope) access path down to the secured court yard. The exit discharge into the secured court complies with section 408.3.4 with required refuge area beyond the 50' separation from the building. Also reference permit BLD09-00489, T.I. for the east building. This is an existing "I-3" occupancy under the 1997 UBC as reviewed and approved by the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety, regulating premanufactured modular building systems, #PA 11795FB, Tag #8960FB. This is a secured facility. Scope of work will not change occupancy use group, building area or the occupant load originally approved. Planning approval done under CZC09-00056. drs
