To upgrade an interior non-compliant door landing, an interior non-compliant ramp, and the swing of an interior egress door located within the 1st story core area of the Capitol Terrace Building. In addition, outside air serving the "Heirloom Dance Studio" tenant space will be increased. Work is to include extending a door alcove that is part of a 2-hr fire-resistance-rated exit passageway. An interior concrete ramp, a concrete landing at an interior door, 2-hr fire-resistance-rated walls, and a 2-hr fire-resistance-rated ceiling will be constructed. Occupancy of the "Heirloom Dance Studio" tenant space is NOT allowed until the work authorized by this permit is completed. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances.
