(BOISE KENNEL ADDITION) Construct a new 428 sq. ft. large dog kennel and add an 85 sq. ft. addition to existing kennel building. Work includes excavation for footing, concrete footing & slab, 3'-3" masonry wall at bottom perimeter and frame construction on top at large dog kennel and frame wall construction for addition, roof / ceiling joists, roof cover, doors, hardware and windows. The south wall of the existing kennel is masonry and was required to be 1-hour fire rated with no openings and solid blocking between joists for the full width of the wall in accordance with original construction under UBC. A parapet was not required at time of construction. Verify the 1-hour construction is maintained. Electrical lighting and controls for new areas. All new and existing building are close enough together that all were reviewed as one building for allowable area and type of construction. drs
