(MAIN ENTRY CANOPY) Construct a 196 sq. ft. canopy over the main entry landings, stair and ramp. Construction to be 4"x 4" posts supported on 12" square or 14" round footings extending below frost (24" below grade) with metal post base support; 2" x 6" joists at 12" o.c. supported by (2) 1-3/4" x 9-1/4" LVL bolted to wood columns at one end and joist hangers connected to a ledger at the existing building. The ledger is connected to wall framing of the existing building by (2) 1/2" x 6" lag bolts at each stud, 24" O.C. Lag bolt hole are to be predrilled to avoid splitting of materials. All mechanical anchor devices shall be installed per the manufactures installation instruction for the proposed use. All wood products exposed to the elements shall be treated for the proposed use per the product manufacture.
