(INTEGRATED DESIGN LAB) PLAN MODIFICATION, 1/18/11, EXPANDING SCOPE OF WORK TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL SUPPORT UPGRADE OF ROOF STRUCTURE ALONG GRIDLINE 'F' BETWEEN GRID POINT 3.8 TO 7, ADJACENT TO NEW CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUBMITTED STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN CALCS & DETAILS. REMAINDER OF PERMIT AND ALL ATTACHMENTS REMAIN AS ORIGINALLY APPROVED. DRS Remodel a 2,640 sq. ft. portion of the 8,714 sq. ft. shell space created under BLD10-00902 for use by Integrated Design Lab as an office, testing & training facility per the reviewed plans. Compliance with building code for restroom and drinking fountain requirements are part of BLD10-01061 which creates common core area facilities. Work to include select interior demolition; perform structural modifications to portions of roof for new skylights and HVAC units; construction of 2-hour fire barrier walls around the open office / conference room to create a separate 2,118 sq. ft. fire area ( designated as fire area 1B on plans) containing an "A3" occupancy so a fire suppression system is not required. The fire barrier walls will also be a part of a required 1-hour fire rated common exit corridors that will serve this tenant space, existing tenants and future tenant spaces. All doors serving as part of the egress system from the "A3" assembly occupancy to the exit discharge shall be panic hardware if door hardware is provided. Modify electrical, mechanical, plumbing, interior finishes and millwork. Install new stairway at the end of and as part of the rated corridor system created under BLD10-01061 designated on plans as corridor 107 & stair 108. drs
