(JEFFERSON PLACE) - NOTE: Existing egress paths serving existing tenants & northeast stair enclosure shall be maintained safe and be usable as required exits throughout the scope of work for this project along W. Jefferson Street. Addendum to project for the bridge & railings, etc. to serve as LATTA, Inc. 2nd exit is a DEFERRED SUBMITTAL to be handled /processed in compliance with Sec. 106.3.4, 2006 IBC. Contractor is responsible for compliance with Chapter 33, 2006 IBC & Ch. 14, 2006 IFC. Scope of work includes select demolition & replacement of structural slab and sidewalk over existing basement on Jefferson St. side & 9th per reviewed plans.. Work to include demolition of existing concrete walk / basement storage roof; cleaning of existing structural beams and re-priming; construction of 3 reinforced concrete tree wells / structural beam support; installation of galvanized or phosphatized/painted Formlock steel deck; install HSS5x5x5/16 tube steel structural support below existing steel beam in line with building wall line; place reinforced concrete over steel deck, place protective membrane and install new sidewalk & street lights. All per reviewed plans and structural engineers analysis and design details. Special Inspections required as specified on Sheet S1.1 and attached "Project Start Up For special Inspection" document provided by structural engineer. This building is fully sprinklered to allow the fifth story. Separate applications and permits are required before any modification to the sprinkler or alarm system can begin, as regulated by the fire department.
