(EMERALD BUILDING ELEVATOR ADDITION) Fire sprinklers used for code trade-offs. To construct a 187 square foot elevator addition to provide an accessible route to serve about 6,208 square feet of the existing 8,433 square foot 2nd story. The elevator will not be available to serve about 2,225 square feet of the 2nd story. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, masonry walls, masonry columns, wood floor joists, wood roof joists, wood floor and roof sheathing, wood stud walls with wood sheathing, interior nonbearing walls, changing a shower room to a toilet room accessible to the disabled, suspended acoustical ceilings, relocated doors, and relocated windows. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This permit does NOT establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. This is a shell permit only. Each tenant is required to apply for and receive their own Certificate of Occupancy before occupancy. **CJW**
